On behalf of Kostas Stamatopoulos and Anastasia Hadzidimitriou at the Institute of Applied Biosciences (INAB) at CERTH, the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH).

The PhD position available is within COSMIC, an EU H2020 MSCA-ETN project. You can find information about the initiative here: https://cosmic.bioinformaticslaboratory.nl/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&layout=item&id=19&Itemid=556
The COSMIC proposal aims to deliver the next generation of systems medicine professionals with the germinal center as the focus area. To this end, we will concentrate on B-cell lymphoma and rheumatoid arthritis, diseases that originate from abnormal functioning of the adaptive immune system, in particular the germinal center. COSMIC will develop and integrate experimental and computational approaches, and establish a unique cross-fertilization between oncology and auto-immunity.
