Research Scientist for US Army vaccine research, Frederick MD

We are looking to hire a computational biologist to join our immunology and vaccine research team at the US Army’s Biotechnology HPC Software Applications Institute in Frederick, Maryland, USA.

This individual will be working on projects ranging from machine learning methods to identify potential correlates of immunity, repertoire analysis to characterize vaccine-induced immune responses, and kinetic modeling to define possible mechanisms of protection.

The individual will be expected to work closely with biologists and immunologists in vaccine research groups at the United States Army Institute of Infectious Diseases and the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research on pre-clinical and clinical research in Ebola, malaria, and dengue fever.
