About the Wiki category

#1

Publicly-editable pages to convey information overviews.

This category will contain wiki pages, which are pages like any other post, except that everyone can edit them. Please be extra considerate and careful when doing so.

Also, please note that the forum software support for such pages isn’t quite as sophisticated as what you would expect from, say, Wikipedia. In particular, if two users are editing the post at the same time, they will over-write each other’s edits. For this reason, I suggest saving your edited version somewhere else before submitting it.

You can recognize a wiki page by the fact that it has a little green writing icon (enlarged here):

You can edit a wiki page using the little pencil icon available by clicking on the three dots to the left of “Reply”:

If you have trust level 3 or above, you can change your post into a wiki by clicking on the wrench icon at the bottom of the post and selecting “Make Wiki”:

Let 1000 beautiful wiki pages bloom! :sunflower:
